SPLASH Arts are always looking for new things to do!
Coming soon are 2 new projects both funded by a government scheme called Neighbourhood Renewal.
Project 1 has as its central theme increasing attainment levels for GCSE Art. For this scheme 10 young people taking GCSE in art will be encouraged to join us in making artworks and running art clubs for younger children. To link these activities to the GCSE course work we will conduct GCSE booster sessions on Mondays.
Project 2 is an arts activities programme designed for children with Special Needs. It will not be exclusive however and mainstream children will be encouraged to take part, creating an inclusive environment in which the Special Needs kids feel ownership. We expect something like 10 Special Children and 40 mainstream children to be involved.
